About the authors:

‘Howard Garner is Professor of Education and co-director of project Zero at the Harvard graduate School of Education. He is the author of many books including Frames of Mind, Multiple Intelligences and Creating Minds. In 1981 he won a MacArthur Prize fellowship and in 1990 became the first American to win the University of Louisville Grawemeyer Award in Education.

Mindy Kornhaber is a researcher at Harvard Project Zero. She holds graduate degrees in education form the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she pursued studies in psychology and social policy. She is the author of several articles on intelligence and education reform. Her research concerns the way in which institutions, and the policies affecting them, enhance or impede the development of individual potential.

Warren Wake is the director of the Institute for Design and Electronic Imaging Arts (IDEA) at the Boston Architectural Center, where he also teaches and directs the academic computing curriculum. He is the author of numerous articles and the editor of the BAC Research Journal. He received his doctoral from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he pursued his interest in cognitive neuroscience and artificial intelligence applied to computer-aided design.’ Book cover
